Stuff the Bus: Thank you!

On Saturday, December 4th, Big Brothers Big Sisters was the recipient of a literal bus full of gifts for youth ages 6-18. Stuff the Bus, hosted by 103.3 WKFR, took place in the parking lot of Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Portage.

Supporters generously purchased gifts for Littles in our program and their siblings, and brought them to the bus. Bigs and parent participants were invited to our office to pick up gifts for the Littles in their life over the last two weeks. Nearly 40 joined us, picking up gifts for all the Littles in their lives. The few gifts that remained after families and Bigs shopped were shared with our partners at Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kalamazoo, ensuring these items make it into the hands of local youth.

Below you’ll find photos from the event, as well as photos of our Mentoring Center, packed full with gifts. This holiday season will be one our Littles won’t soon forget- and neither will we. Thank you, sincerely, to all who participated. You are igniting potential!
