The Big Pride mentoring program is a partnership between Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Michigan and OutFront Kalamazoo.
The Big Pride mentoring program is for youth age 12 to 16 who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning. LGBTQ+ mentors (Bigs) are matched with LGBTQ+ youth (Littles) to form a supportive friendship to ignite the power and promise of the Little and help guide and support them through their teen years.
Are you interested in finding out more about the program? Do you want to know how to apply to be a Big? Or enroll a child? As with all of our programs, parent/guardian support is a requirement of participation. To be considered as a Big Pride Little your parent/guardian must connect regularly with program staff and your Big. Please contact Gabrielle Sorge with questions or call our office at 269-382-6800.
